Professional Services Optimization Sprint

Less operational friction.
A clearer path forward.

Six weeks to turn your SaaS professional services team’s most pressing operational challenges into a focused, measurable action plan.

Choose one priority area. Diagnose up to three pain points. Leave knowing what to change, who should own it, and how to measure progress.

Six weeks of advisory. A roadmap for the 90 days that follow.

Your action plan is delivered by the end of Week 6. It defines what your team should execute over the following 90 days; it does not include another 90 days of advisory sessions. For guidance through execution, add the 90-Day PS Execution Partnership for $18,000. Both phases total $24,000, with no overlap in fees or included services.

01 / Choose your focus

One priority. Meaningful depth.

For SaaS PS leaders who need sharper decisions on profitability, scale, or delivery—without starting an open-ended consulting engagement. We select one area together and focus on up to three related pain points.

MARGIN & UTILIZATION

Busy teams. Unclear economics.

Understand where capacity, scope, and delivery economics are putting pressure on profitability.

  • Utilization and capacity planning
  • Scope control and change management
  • Project and portfolio profitability

SCALABILITY & OPERATING MODEL

Growth that outpaces the model.

Identify the operating changes needed to support more work with greater consistency.

  • Roles, structure, and ownership
  • Repeatable delivery and resource planning
  • Tooling and partner strategy

DELIVERY EFFICIENCY & GOVERNANCE

Too much friction between steps.

Pinpoint bottlenecks and clarify the controls that help work move from handoff to completion.

  • Handoffs and process bottlenecks
  • Delivery governance and escalation
  • Standardization and automation opportunities

02 / What you take away

Decisions your team can act on.

Not just a list of observations. A practical plan that connects the underlying issues to prioritized actions, accountable owners, and measurable progress.

  • Current-state assessment

A baseline and root-cause view of the selected pain points.

  • Prioritized improvement opportunities

Recommendations ranked by impact, effort, and urgency.

  • Leadership decision brief

The tradeoffs and decisions needed to move forward.

  • 90-day action plan and KPI scorecard

Recommended owners, milestones, and success measures your team can use to track execution.

03 / How the six weeks work

A clear rhythm from question to action.

  1. WEEK 01

    Align

Confirm the priority, pain points, sponsor expectations, and what a useful outcome looks like.

  2. WEEK 02

    Assess

Review available data and stakeholder input to establish the current-state baseline.

  3. WEEK 03

    Diagnose

Separate symptoms from root causes and test the findings with your team.

  4. WEEK 04

    Prioritize

Evaluate improvement options by impact, effort, urgency, and dependencies.

  5. WEEK 05

    Build the plan

Define recommended owners, milestones, and measures for the next 90 days.

  6. WEEK 06

    Executive readout

Review recommendations with leadership and hand over the action plan and scorecard.

What does our team need to provide?

An executive sponsor, a primary point of contact, timely access to relevant stakeholders and available data, and participation in weekly sessions. Your team owns implementation of the agreed actions.

What is outside the scope?

Implementation, system configuration, ongoing project management, extensive data remediation, organization-wide change management, travel, and execution of recommendations. Additional support can be scoped separately in writing.

How do payment and scheduling work?

The $6,000 USD fee is split into two payments: $3,000 at scheduling and $3,000 at the start of Week 4. The engagement runs for six consecutive weeks; material access or scheduling delays may require a revised timeline. Final terms are confirmed in the engagement agreement.
